The Supernova Bobby Pins are a set of twelve, made in New York of Swarovski crystal and gold-plated brass, on a durable steel bobby pin, designed to stay firmly in place, once other pins have the hairstyle securely fastened. We recommend treating each pin as you would a piece of jewelry, and storing in the dust bag when not in use. Avoid contact with water, perfume, and other chemicals, including hairspray, which should be used before placement in the hair.
