From Jennifer Behr's collaboration with New York Vintage, the striking Agnes headband incorporates an antique feather spray from the New York Vintage archive. Elements like these feathers have been reclaimed from antique headpieces and reimagined for modern wear, emphasizing the eternal nature of great design. The New York Vintage collection includes feathers sourced from near and far, including some originally used on grand Victorian hats, and others acquired from an eminent private collection in Upstate New York, each one offering its own rich history. The nylon veiling was custom-dyed to match the feathers, completing this dramatic, one-of-a-kind piece. Each piece in the Jennifer Behr x New York Vintage collection is one of a kind and any "imperfections" in the materials are intentional and part of the history of the trims and materials in this collection.
